Would we buy it?
Yes, to start without spending
It is the one we would recommend to anyone who does not know whether they will make ice cream twice or fifty times. For very little you do away with the freezer bowl and find out whether homemade ice cream is for you. That said: if you already know it is, do not buy this one. With 0.8 litres and an hour per batch you will soon run short.

Does it really have a compressor at that price?
Yes, and that is what makes it interesting. There is no putting the bowl in the freezer the night before: you switch it on and it starts chilling on its own.
How much ice cream does it make?
The bowl holds 0.8 litres, so count on two or three servings per batch. And do not fill it to the brim: the mix grows as it takes in air.
Why does it take an hour?
Because its compressor is 100 watts, almost half that of the 180 W ones. Less power means bringing the temperature down more slowly, and that lengthens the batch.
Does it make yoghurt?
No. Ice cream and sorbet only.
Does the ice cream turn out well with so little power?
It does, but the recipe matters even more than on the big machines: if the mix is not well set up, at 100 W the crystals show sooner. Use the calculator and adjust sugars and solids.
Will it be too little?
If you make ice cream now and then, no. If you get hooked, yes: almost everyone who starts ends up wanting more quantity and more flavours at once.
