The compressor's cold has to cross the bowl wall to reach the mix. Aluminium conducts it considerably better than stainless steel, so at the same power the mix drops in temperature sooner. In exchange, aluminium scratches easily: no metal spoons and no scouring pads.

But it is such a new model that it has only one rating on Amazon, and with a single rating nothing can be recommended. If you want the same thing with a track record behind it, the Cecotec Gelacy 800 is the equivalent that really is sold in Spain.
