Frequently asked questions
Does it really make two flavours at once?
Yes. They are two separate 1.2-litre bowls with a control each, and they work independently: you can start one and put the other in later.
Are the 250 watts split or combined?
They are shared. With both bowls full, the cold per litre is like that of a 180-watt machine working alone. The advantage is the queue, not the speed.
How much room does it really take?
40.9 cm wide, 38 tall and 19 kg. It is the biggest and heaviest we have analysed: it needs a permanent spot.
Do you have to pre-freeze anything?
No, it has its own compressor. As with all of them, it is best to put the mix in already cold from the fridge.
Does it make yoghurt?
No. It has no display or digital timer either: one rotary knob per bowl and little else.
Is it worth it compared with buying two ice cream makers?
It takes up less room than two machines and plugs in only once. But if one flavour per batch works for you, a single two-litre bowl saves you a good deal.
