Answers to your questions

Frequently asked questions

When does the stick go in?

When the lolly has already set on the outside but the centre is still soft, roughly after an hour. Put it in earlier and it sinks or leans.

Can they be reused?

Better not. Wood absorbs moisture and flavour, and on the second use the stick softens and snaps when you bite.

¿Qué medida necesito?

For a standard mould lolly, between 9 and 11 cm. At least four fingers should stick out or there is nothing to hold.

Does the wood flavour the ice cream?

If it is untreated birch, you do not notice it. The one that tastes of wood is usually a cheap stick with too much moisture.
